ka-boom!

Nothing like being woken up to a loud explosion AND you alarm clock simultaneously! doesn't make for a great start. but really it hasn't been a bad morning. i got to work 30 min early, a rarity for me, and got to walk over to my favorite coffee shop. i like getting to work a bit early, it gives me a chance to get settled before it's time to work.

although i typically dry my hair every morning, today, b/c we had no power, i had to let it air dry. i am always amazed at how much curl and body my hair actually has. Luckily it's not looking so bad! kyle always likes it au natural, but i insist that it looks more "put together" when I blow dry it. anyhow, kyle you should like it this morning!

well, work should be interesting today. we will continue on packing the office, in preparation for moving into our new GHA office where both the biloxi and gulfport offices will be combined. packing is not so bad, its all the filth that you find when disturbing items that haven't been touched in a couple of years--gross! on a tastey side note, wendy brough tato-nuts (local specialty donuts) this morning! not so healthy, but oh so yummy.

as for our 4th of July weekend, Kyle and i have some home projects planned. we'll be adding pavers to our driveway, making it much more user friendly! pictures to follow... we're also hoping to add some annuals to the flower beds too. Monday night we'll probably head to the beach to catch some fireworks!
