no new news...

we have now contacted and started all of our insurance claims paperwork. like everything else, we just have to wait, survey the damage, then wait for the adjusters to see it all too.

we are shooting to return to the Coast by saturday, that is if we are allowed. this will all be determined by what the officials say. as of now, everything south of the railroad tracks is off limits and there is a 6 pm curfew. since we are just south of the railroad tracks we couldn't go to the homesite, but we could view it from the other side of the tracks. but that is if we could even get to the railroad tracks!

as i said yesterday, the more we see on tv the more i am saddened. i hurt for everyone! especially those who have lost a precious loved one. it's hard to lose a home and things, but they can be replaced.

on a lighter note, my father-in-law commented that now we'll get to start over with all new things. i guess that's a nice way to look at things. unfortunately so much of our stuff was relatively new as lots of things were wedding presents. but again, all replaceable. the one thing i am most excited to replace is the toilet! but as kyle says, that may be the only thing left standing...dang it! haha!

we've been flooded with phone calls (as well as our parents) wishing us well and offering help and prays. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. it means so much to know that many people are caring about us.

fyi, we're still having trouble dialing out to long distance numbers from the pensacola land line and are still relying on incoming calls to talk to people (we can dial out to toll free numbers and local numbers). our cell phones are still out of commission, will call everyone on those whenever they are back up and running.
